Rishad brings experience spanning healthcare, property investment and development — giving clients a sharp commercial perspective alongside rigorous project delivery.

Lead Architect Director
Founding design director responsible for creative direction and project delivery across all sectors. Trained at the Bartlett, UCL, with particular experience in mixed-use and community-led schemes across South and East London.

Senior Architect — Residential
Focused on residential design with a strong interest in retrofit and adaptive reuse. Experienced in conservation area applications, listed building consents, and Passivhaus retrofit principles.
Omar Hassan
Senior Architect — Workspace
Specialises in commercial workspace and co-working projects. Solid background in BREEAM-rated office buildings and tenant fit-outs, managing consultant teams through RIBA work stages.
Carlos Rivera
Architect — Retail
Specialist in retail and hospitality interiors, delivering restaurant, café, and shop fit-outs across London with a strong eye for materials, joinery, and lighting on modest budgets.

Structural Engineer
Working towards chartership with the Institution of Structural Engineers, with four years' experience on residential refurbishments, loft conversions, and extensions across London.
Raj Patel
Mechanical Engineer
CIBSE member with seven years' experience designing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Specialises in Part L, SAP assessments, and SBEM modelling.
Elena Vasquez
Mechanical Engineer
Focuses on indoor air quality, ventilation strategy, and renewable integration. Experienced in MVHR systems and air source heat pump installations, working towards her CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant accreditation.

Background in furniture design and making. Works across commercial and hospitality projects developing material palettes, furniture specifications, and joinery packages with a strong understanding of FF&E procurement and budget management.

Oak & Stone was founded by a small group of design professionals who believed great architecture starts with listening. Based in London, our team of architects, engineers, and designers came together with a shared ambition — to build a practice that puts people, craft, and collaboration at the heart of every project.
We work with ambitious clients across the commercial, workspace, healthcare, retail, and residential sectors, delivering projects valued between £100,000 and £2 million. We bring a hands-on, thoughtful approach to design that makes a genuine difference to the spaces we deliver.
